Subject Description:
Beginning the second quarter, This course is designed to take the students with a basic
knowledge of recording techniques into the complex field of project mastering.
Subject Hours: 75 clock hours (45 classroom hours, 30 lab hours)
Performance Objectives:
Define the whole music mastering production process from start to finish including:
• Recording bands
• Advanced mixing
• Signal processing
• Automation techniques
• Mastering the final mix
• Preparing CDs for mass production
• Archiving procedures
Prerequisites: AUD101
