She was loved dearly
and she will be remembered...
Belinda Reyes Swafford

Belinda
attended the Art Institute of Dallas and received
an Associate of Applied Arts degree in 1990. She then
began career as an audio/microphone technician with
Showco Inc. of Dallas, Texas that lasted for 12 years.
While at Showco, Belinda was responsible for the preparation
and maintenance of the Prism sound systems used by
such international recording artists as Eric Clapton,
Rolling Stones, Sade, James Taylor, Santana, George
Strait, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, Korn, Limp Bizkit,
NSync and various others. She was also part
of the research and development team at Showco, which
produced the Showconsole audio control desk, a memory
managed console that is easy to learn and use. After
the sale of Showco to Clair Brothers Audio in Pennsylvania,
Belinda began working at the Dallas Sound Lab in July
2001. She was both an admissions director and audio
technician for the studio and school. Her experience
in the audio industry proved most beneficial to
our students.
